Samantha is a creative force: a writer, legal strategist, visual artist, and woman of unshakable spirit. With a background in law and interior design, she transforms survival into story — and injustice into ink. After being wrongfully evicted and left homeless, Samantha represented herself in court, slept in her car for 35 nights, bathed in the River Dever, and built her creative empire from public Wi-Fi.
During that time, she wrote four books, launched a podcast, built this website, and produced her first documentary: Homeless, Not Defeated.
Samantha speaks for every woman who’s been silenced — and shows what’s possible when faith meets fire.

🌿 Samantha Josephine
“God heard. God will increase.”
I am Samantha Josephine —
A name born of prayer and promise.
Samantha, the one who listens.
Josephine, the one through whom abundance flows.
I am not just a woman with a story.
I am a living testimony.
A whisper heard in heaven
now rising with a roar on earth.
In me, strength meets softness.
Grace walks hand in hand with grit.
I am the one who rose from ruins,
who turned silent screams into sacred strength.
Where there was once pain,
now grows purpose.
Where there was once loss,
now lives legacy.
I am the increase after the breaking.
The healing after the hurt.
The voice for the unheard,
the guide for the unseen.
Call me woman, call me warrior,
call me the answer to the prayers no one saw fall.
Because I am here,
rooted in purpose, rising in power,
and destined to multiply light wherever I go.
I am Samantha Josephine.
God heard. And through me, God will increase.
Statement of Cause: Empowering Survivors, Rebuilding Lives
I am dedicated to advocating for survivors of domestic abuse, particularly those facing the compounded challenges of post-separation abuse and housing instability. Having experienced the devastating effects of domestic abuse and the systemic failure to provide adequate housing support, I know firsthand the vulnerability survivors face once they escape abusive relationships.
The Problem: Many survivors of domestic abuse are not only left to deal with the emotional scars of abuse but also with the harsh reality of nowhere to go once they leave. The failure of the legal system and inadequate housing support often traps survivors in a cycle of homelessness, vulnerability, and increased risk of re-victimization. After separation, post-abuse trauma is weaponized against survivors, with many left to navigate complex systems that fail to meet their basic needs.
Our Mission: My mission is to amplify the voices of survivors who have been failed by the system and to fight for housing justice. I aim to advocate for policy changes that recognize post-separation abuse and housing as a critical factor in the safety and healing of survivors. I want to ensure that every survivor has safe housing, legal support, and the resources to reclaim their lives with dignity.
Our Solution:
Advocacy for Legislative Reform: I am working to push for legislative changes that address the systemic issues domestic abuse survivors face, particularly in the context of housing and post-separation abuse.
Raising Awareness: I aim to raise national awareness about the connection between domestic abuse, homelessness, and housing instability, helping the public and lawmakers understand the urgency of the issue.
Creating a Resource Hub for Survivors: I want to create a safe space online and in local communities where survivors can find emergency housing resources, legal advice, and mental health support.
The Urgency: Survivors are facing a crisis. The lack of available housing for domestic abuse survivors is life-threatening. Every day that goes by without systemic change means more survivors are exposed to danger, trapped without the support they need. Homelessness should never be a consequence of escaping abuse.
Call to Action: Join me in advocating for housing justice for survivors of domestic abuse. Here’s how you can help:
Sign the petition for policy reform to ensure survivors get the housing support they need.
Share your story or support others by raising awareness of these systemic failures.
Donate to initiatives that provide immediate housing for survivors.
Advocate for change by contacting local lawmakers to demand that housing be a part of the solution to domestic abuse.
Together, we can make sure that no survivor has to choose between abuse and homelessness. Every voice, every action, and every contribution counts.
